Barbican Conservatory

On Sunday we met with some friends at the Barbican Conservatory, the second biggest conservatory in London, which is right in the heart of the city and not far from us. We found it incredibly peaceful and relaxing, while the kids particularly liked watching the big fish! It was the perfect way to spend an otherwise gloomy and cold day.

Digital Revolution

On Saturday morning we went to the Barbican Centre to see the Digital Revolution exhibition, an immersive, interactive and engaging exhibition sponsored and curated by a mixture of artists, filmmakers, architects, designers, musicians, as well as game developers with special contributions from will.i.am, Bjork, and the minds behind the special effects in the movies Gravity and Inception, just to name a few. I saw the poster on the tube a couple of weeks ago and wanted to go but I didn't know when and how. Then, I asked Rob if he was interested and we decided to take a chance and go with baby. If she didn't like it or behave properly, we would have taken turns. Well, I wasn't sure how she was going to react especially to the dark, the lights and the loud music but she absolutely loved it. If anything, we were too concerned. In fact, she liked it so much that got very upset when we left and kept turning her head back saying *museum*!

Now that I know she likes museums and exhibitions, I have already planned our next visit. Stay tuned!

Can you see us in the little monitor?

She is having so much fun!

It's official, she is a super geek!
