Canary Wharf Christmas Activities

I love all the festive activities going on around London these days!
Last weekend we took Emilia to Canary Wharf where a plethora of Christmas activities were going on  outdoor as well as inside the shopping centre. We first visited the Christmas market by the water with all its woodden little houses and lots and lots of sweets.

We then headed to the ice rink where we enjoyed looking at people and listening to the music. We did some dancing as well!

It was very cold outside so we craved a warm lunch and we picked Wahaca, a colorful and yummy Mexican restaurant where Emilia enjoyed a big plate of tortillas filled with grilled chicken and melted cheese. She was so excited that it was very difficult to convince her to nap after lunch!

And since there was no intention of napping, we went inside the shopping centre for more excitement! We first tried to vist Santa's grotto but the queue was too long, same for the cookie decorating session, we then opted for some face painting instead and Emilia chose to have a snowman on her cheek.

All in all it was a good day which ended with even more Christmas markets on the way home...
