Afternoon Tea Series: Soho's Secret Tea Room

Today my girls and I headed to Soho for our fifth Afternoon Tea. It was a hot day in London and hot tea wasn't probably what we were all craving the most; however, as usual, we had a lovely time filled with chats, gossip, flower dresses, vintage china and scones!

For this month I chose Soho's Secret Tea Room, an intimate, old fashion, and difficult to find, lovely little tearoom in the heart of Soho. The allure about this place is definitely is location, mysteriously hidden on top of a famous Soho pub, the Coach and Horses. I can't say this was the best Afternoon Tea we have had in this series, especially after experiencing the wonders of Mari Vanna, but I still loved the Britishness of the place with its mismatched tableware and china (including a cake tier with Charles and Diana!), not to mention the super yummy peanut-butter macaroon! And a cute little add-on: we were given a small hour-glass to make sure we would wait the right amount of time for the tea to brew. Enchanting.
