Toms Toms Toms

I have blogged about my passion for Toms before.

I own a couple of Toms already but if I could, I would buy every single colour and pattern version of them. They are so incredibly comfortable and versatile. And it makes me feel good to buy a pair of shoes knowing that another pair will automatically be sent to a child in need.

Yesterday, on my way home from work I passed by Office and saw a lovely new pattern that I hadn't spotted before. You know how much I love polka dots and all shades of blue, so these shoes seem to have been designed just for me.

Believe it or not, I didn't stop to buy them. I was tired and wanted to go home. However, they may find their way to my flat soon! :)

And since we are on the subject of polka dots and comfortable shoes, have you seen the new collaboration between Henry Holland and Superga? It's an explosion of polka dots!
I am not sure I could wear the high ones (2790 Flatform), as cool as they look, but the classic Superga (2750) are quite cute. Now, the question is: pink, green, or blue?

Office Xmas Do

Yesterday we had our office Xmas do, and what an evening that was! We made (and drank!) cocktails, cooked (and ate!) many Italian antipasti, and enjoyed a delicious three course meal in a lovely Italian Restaurant in Marylebone Lane. It was a lovely way to celebrate Xmas with my colleagues and we all had such a fun time. Below are some pictures and videos that capture some of the moments of the evening.

The gang entering the Italian Cookery School
Wondering what we have to do
Putting plastic aprons with names on
Our chef, Stefano, gives us instructions. And boy he was intimidating!
Hands On

The cocktail table was  by far the most crowded one! :)

The most suspenseful part of the evening was the flipping of the frittata. But our boys did a great job!

Time to try our drinks and antipasti
Dinner Time. we are all stuffed!
The only Bulgari thing I can afford :)
No expenses spared!
Overall, we had a blast. Thanks very much to everyone, and in particular Sheila and Anna for organising such a great evening!

Crafty Needs

I have had a terrible and super frustrating day at work today. And now all I can think of is how nice it would be to have some time to dedicate to my hobbies and crafty projects. I wish I could work part-time and be able to attend all the courses I would like to take, learn how to sew, screenprint, letterpress, speak Spanish...Oh, there are so many things I would like to learn...Sometimes I feel like time is going by without me fully enjoying my life.

Don't get me wrong, I have a wonderful life, I live in an amazing city, I have a very sweet partner and a super caring family and am surrounded by amazing friends. However, sometimes I wish I didn't have to spend most of my time inside a not-very-inspiring office!

That's it, I am planning a *Learn How To* series of events with my friends! Fancy joining us?
