Machiavelli

Last week I tried Machiavelli for lunch with my friend Lucia and we both loved it. Machiavelli opened just a month ago in Long Acre, very close to my office, and I have been meaning to go since the day it opened. The interiors attracted my attention and I had a feeling that the food would be good too.

The cafe' is on two floors. We were seated downstairs in a lovely off-cream and very relaxing room. The food was simply delicious; we had a trio of bruschette and then we shared a mouth-watering prawn lasagna and a very good squid fregola pasta.

Machiavelli is certainly not a cheap option for lunch but I will definitely go again, perhaps for another girlie catch-up.

My Lunch Break

I love Spring lunch breaks! I am very lucky to work next to a park, but then in London you can find a park at every corner. Today I grabbed a bowl of chicken noodles and enjoyed them at the park. Many many other people had the same idea. It was lovely!

Today I am happy because...

I have found this Italian pizzeria *al taglio*. Adagio pizza is just a few minutes away from my office and the pizza is lovely. I can go there aythime I need a slice, for lunch or an afternoon snack.
It's like being in Italy, except it's in the bustling and amazing area of Soho, London.

I {heart} you London!

Pizza East

Following my previous post...if you, like me, live in London and can't really justify to spend a night in the Rough Luxe Hotel, that perhaps is just a couple of tube stops from your own flat, then here is a suggestion for something you can definitely do in London, in fact, you should do it!

I had lunch at Pizza East today and simply loved it! The atmosphere is fantastic, the industrial interiors simply amazing and the food just delicious! Go there for a Sunday brunch or lunch after a quick shopping at the nearby Spitafields Market.

Must try it soon! You' ll love it, I promise!
